Around campus, the question we get asked most often is: what exactly do quants do? Traders at Berkeley exists to help answer that question. We are a group of students interested in quantitative finance, and our goal is to create opportunities for others to learn about the field, meet like-minded peers, and connect with people in the industry.

1. Our Mission

   Many highly capable students lack visibility into what the quantitative finance industry actually is and struggle to find opportunities to break into it — thus, we made it our mission to bridge that gap.

2. Our Community

   We bring together tens of firms and thousands of students through our many events each year, forming one of the largest and most active collegiate networks for quantitative finance.

3. Our Impact

   Instead of navigating the industry blind, we create clear and accessible ways for students to explore the field, build their skills, and connect directly with the people shaping it.
